Fused Spinel

Sundar Fused Spinel, using alumina and high purity light-burnt magnesia as main starting materials, fusing in electric arc furnace and cooled, is a new kind of high purity synthesized refractory raw material.

Sundar Fused Spinel is characterized by high bulk density, good thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance. It is testified that addition of fused magnesia-alumina spinel can improve the slag resistance and thermal shock resistance of refractory products. Sundar Fused Spinel is mainly used to produce high grade magnesia-alumina bricks, magnesia-alumina castable, sliding nozzles, lining bricks for ladle, slide plates, nozzle blocks and roof bricks, which can improve the thermal shock resistance. It is the ideal material to replace magnesia-chrome refractories.
