Brown Fused Alumina

Sundar Brown Fused Alumina is produced by the smelting of Calcined Bauxite in an electric arc furnace at temperatures which is greater than 2000oC. A slow solidification process follows the fusion, to yield blocky crystals. The melting helps in removing residual sulphur and carbon. Strict control during the fusion process ensures optimum toughness of the grains. Sundar Brown Fused Alumina is characterized by high purity, good crystal, strong fluidity, low coefficient of linear expansion ,good corrosion-resistance.
